Weekly Movement Classes

Lepeng has taught group Yoga, Pilates classes and Qigong practice for the past 12 years.  She has witnessed many people struggling in regular Yoga and Pilates classes as well as other strenuous workout classes. Unless you have been consistently practicing Yoga and workout regularly, some of these movements are not natural or even suitable for our bodies and it can hurt us and cause unnecessary injuries. Lepeng designed  a series of movement classes so that people can develop and maintain their strength, flexibility and vitality with little risk of any injuries.

*Qi Gong is a practice that allows us to experience and utilize a subtle energy called Qi or Prana. When Qi is abundant within us we feel physicaly strong, emotionally balanced and guided by inner clarity and vision. We can taste freedom.

Qigong & Stick (or Yoga) movement (90 minutes)

Lepeng designed this movement class to help people to enjoy movement in a way that feels good, flows the energy and trains the mind.  And you don’t have to go fast, be competitive and worry about injures. The class starts with 45-minutes gentle Qigong practice to warm up the body and open up major energy channels (meridians) in the body, then we use a 6-feet wooden stick to stretch in ways that you would not be able to without it. The class ends with grounding and relaxation on the yoga mat with carefully selected soothing music.

Qi Flow (75 minutes)

This class begins with 50-minutes dynamic Qigong practice to open up energy channels and Qi flow in the body, then we move through a series of gentle yoga postures to strengthen and stretch the entire body. You will feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated after 10-minutes of shavasana (deep relaxation) at the end.

Reiki Sound Healing Experience (90 to  120 minutes)

A transformative experience that combines the powers of qigong, sound healing, and Reiki energy work.

Begin with qigong with Lepeng to activate your energy and prepare you for the sound healing. *Austin’s expertise the healing vibrations of singing bowls, along with his knowledge of energy vortex points, creates a unique and powerful environment that allows you to release blockages, stress, and pain during the 45-minutes sound bath.

As you journey through the sound bath, Lepeng’s Holy Fire® Reiki work will help to deepen the healing process, release any remaining tension, balance your energy centers and receive guidance and insights during the 45-minutes Reiki session.

This powerful duo is dedicated to serving the world with their gifts in the healing arts, and they welcome you to join them on this transformative journey.

*Austin’s journey of self-awareness began at a young age, sparking a deep questioning of the nature of existence. Through years of exploration, both inward and outward, he has become well-versed in energy work and the power of vortex points. Austin has combined his skills and knowledge through sacred alchemy, finding a profound connection between the energy of these vortex points and the healing power of sound.

His passion for assisting others in healing from blockages, wounds, and pain is evident in his transcendental approach to playing sound healing instruments, particularly singing bowls. Austin’s unique ability to harness the energy of sacred spaces and channel it into his sound healing sessions makes for a truly transformative experience.

Even though I’ve gone to many wonderful yoga instructors in Los Angeles, I feel truly fortunate to have come across Lepeng.  She has such a calming, centered presence that I always leave her classes feeling healed and rejuvenated.  Even attending one class a week makes such a huge difference in my connection of mind, body, and spirit. It does not surprise me to see that she is a reiki therapist.  She has the ability to create a truly healing environment.  She is always tuned into the class, and seems to be really aware of what her students need or maybe just aware of what everyone needs.  She has a subtle way of guiding the class with a soothing voice. She doesn’t waste words as she allows you to check in with yourself.  On occasion, towards the end of class, it’s like she knows everyone is feeling happy, and she’ll say “…maybe put a smile on your face”:)  Her gentle humor combined with a focused yoga practice leave me feeling stronger, happier and healthier.  Not to mention, she plays great music!

Alicia Griffin

I have participated in Lepeng’s Qi Gong, Stick Movement & Yoga class for approximately a year now. I came to her class after my open heart surgery with the desire to resume my yoga and Qi Gong practice in a group setting. Lepeng is a gifted teacher who creates a safe environment for each student to move, breathe and explore their own bodies while she leads the class forward.  The classes fit the abilities of different ages and physical abilities in a non-competitive flow.  As my recovery proceeded, there was and continues to be a safe path for me to improve and expand. Lepeng and her teaching have added to my daily life quality both physically and mentally. When I look around the class at the faces of the other students, I realize that I am not the only one who has this reaction. We all seem happy to be there.
